8x08 Twelve Horny Women: Spoiler

03.10.2012 11:02

Auch zur achten Folge mit dem Titel "Twelve Horny Women" gibt es Infos von mikejonas (ziemlich viele Infos zur Folge, lesen wird nicht unbedingt empfohlen):

Brad and Marshall face off over a case dealing with pollution at Lake Frog. The problem is that all the jurors are women, and all of them--as well as the male judge--seem to favor the hunky Brad, who actively tries to make himself attractive to them. To make his case, Brad produces a shady expert witness who claims that the pollution is actually beneficial to the animals and environment at the lake.

Meanwhile, the gang hangs around at the courthouse, and it's another of what I call "Round Robin storylines"--you take a topic and each of the gang pitches in a revelation from their past/their take on the topic (e.g. "First Time in New York," "Happily Ever After"). This time it's everyone's criminal past (or lack thereof):

A. The bailiff makes a remark about seeing Barney in cuffs, confirming everyone's belief that he's got a long criminal record...
B. Robin flashes back to her wild pop star days, lashing out against a Mountie who politely asked her to turn down the music in her hotel room...
C. Lily asks a courtroom clerk to look up her juvie record, but finds nothing on file...

A. ...but it turns out it's because he saw Barney perform a magic act in them.
B. ...but she's lying, and actually got a "Quietest/Most Respectful Guest" award from the hotel.
C. ...but Lily was actually the neighborhood bully and badass.

Also, it looks like there's a framing subplot (a flashforward?) where it seems like Marshall is on trial, but it turns out that the judge sitting in judgment over him is actually evaluating Marshall's qualifications to be a judge.

And Marshall wins the Lake Frog case by revealing that Brad got an ugly rash from swimming in the lake, turning off the jurors who had been mesmerized by him earlier.
